NEWS

8/22/10 - Hello friends! It's been too long since our last update, but rest assured, things have been very busy in Tea Club land.

Our second album will finally be available everywhere on October 9th! The album is called "Rabbit" and features 9 brand new songs, as well as an incredible album cover painted by Kendra DeSimone.

After taking some time to rehearse a new set of music, we'll be playing out again starting in September. Our first show back will be at the North Star Bar in Philly on September 12th.

We're also going to be playing The Magic Room in Boston on September 25th, opening for Ray Weston of the reknowned prog band echolyn. He will be doing an acoustic "storytellers" type of show, and there's even rumour of a Tea Club/Ray collaboration song or two!

We'll be playing a special album release show on October 9th at The Auction House in Audubon, NJ. Tickets are $10, and everyone who comes out gets a free copy of the new album!

- Hey friends, a live video of Castle Builder from the show at The Tritone is up on YouTube. Many thanks to the amazing and generous Adam Peditto for painstakingly putting it together!

Also, we will be playing a show at the North Star Bar in Philly on May 12th. Please feel free to contact us about tickets, we hope to see you there!!

April 28th is the date for the new record to be mastered, and pressing shortly after that. We have been feverishly working on new artwork for the CD; it's only a short matter of time before the entire thing is finished!

Thank you all SO much for your continuing support and interest in the band. Seriously!! We can't say enough how much it means to us. :)

It's March, which means slightly warmer weather and Shamrock Shakes. As we wait for the second Tea Club album to be finished, here's a bit of news for you:

-The Tritone in Philadelphia earlier this month was a great success! The show was filmed and recorded, and live videos are being edited now and will be posted online in April for you to watch. A DVD of the show is also rumoured... We'll let you know!

-Also in April, we will be doing an acoustic in-studio performance and interview at Blackwood Recording Studios with Jamie Myerson. The show will be played on New Jersey's 91.5 WDBK, so make sure to tune in! Video will be available as well!

-Concerning the new album... Mixing is going extremely well. So far, 4 of the 9 new songs are finished. The entirety of the mixing is expected to be done by the end of March!

-Mastering for the album is set for the last week of April. As with General Winter's Secret Museum, the mastering will be done by the amazing Alan Douches at West West Side Music!

-All that being said, we are now looking to May 2010 as the release date for our second (still-as-of-yet-untitled) album.

-Finally, we're playing on March 27th at The Cherrywood in Blackwood, NJ. It will be the first in many shows sponsored by 91.5 WDBK to showcase alternative New Jersey bands and musicians. The show is 21+ and the admission is free!

Thanks to everyone for your support, and for your positivity and eagerness to hear our second record... We can't wait for you all to hear it!
